“We have purchased the 3XSOC connectors in both OM4 and SM. We have a couple thousand of these and have not had a single issue out of any of them! They are perfect for us. Everything works like a dream. The length of the fiber pigtail lets us use these with our stock fusion splicer, so no special connector holder is required. Just strip, cleave, clean, splice, and heat shrink. If something messes up in the splice, you have two more tries before you have to toss the connector. I can't say enough nice things about these connectors. While researching these connectors, I contacted the Optix America office and talked to what must have been one of the most knowledgeable and friendliest people in the industry. Yes, I realize that this is a modern-day transaction, but this whole experience reminds me of how business was done 30 years ago... good people that are selling a good product, which they stand behind proudly, and at a great price. If you need to splice on some fiber optic connectors, these are the ones you want! "

"I have been using these 3XSOC connectors for about 2 years now and absolutely love them. I have been splicing for about 20 years and have probably used every type of splice-on connector there is in the market. These are by far the best in my opinion. For one they don’t require any special holder for the splicer which saves time and allows you to prep multiple connectors at once. I use them for the New Mexico DOT and the Albuquerque Traffic division for all the street cameras, digital message boards, counters and regular streetlights and have never had a failure. Every now and again I will get a bad splice but it’s usually due to a bad cleave or dirt, but the nice thing is the connector is not ruined like the other type of SOC, you just cut out the splice, strip and cleave it again, then resplice. No more wasting of a connector. For all my projects I must turn in both OTDR and Power loss results and they pass with flying colors. I highly recommend these connectors! As a bonus, the Optix America team is very responsive and always has time to answer any questions, plus they always have stock. I just purchased 2,000 connectors for a project, and I got them the same week I ordered them."
